Match Preview

Thanks to Covid this is the first meeting at Wodson Park between the two clubs in over two years. The last visit ended in a 1-1 draw despite FC Romania playing with ten men for 80 minutes. We did hit the goal post twice in the second half which brings to mind Saturday’s draw against Didcot. We will want to do better in this game.

FC Romania lie ninth in the table with Ware fifth. We are six points ahead of them but they have a game in hand so potentially they have a chance to close the points gap between us though goal difference is significantly in our favour.

We could well see Kieran Bishop at the Park for the first time since 23rd April 2016 as he has been amongst the goals for the Cheshunt-based club. Williams Danquah is another ex-Ware player now getting regular games for FC Romania.
