Our last four away games are all in Oxfordshire and whilst on paper the first of those at Wantage a fortnight ago looked to be the easiest this one is the most difficult. Still, we have risen to these challenges before, just ask Bedford, Berko and Dunstable.
Eynsham Park will be another new ground for us with the clubs only having met once before, that being December’s 0-0 draw at Wodson Park. I hope we can avoid the somewhat controversial dismissal that occurred then. There is an older link between the two clubs with Liam Hope having played for North Leigh in the early part of his career.
The two sides are separated in the table by two places and two points. Ware are in fourth place but defeat could, depending on other results, see us drop out of the play-offs. In any event victory for North Leigh would bring them back into the play-offs and above us. Both teams have a lot to play for.
Speaking to David Square on the Reposs Non-League Show after last week’s win Paul Halsey said there were no injury problems going in to this game though a potential unavailability for expectant father Leigh Rose. We’ll find out on the day whether congratulations are appropriate or delayed for Leigh.
Be there if you can but once again there will be commentary by Pete Hill (though no Symon Allemandy apparently) on https://www.spreaker.com/show/90minuteslive.
