Ware went through comfortably to the next round of the Senior Challenge Cup beating Spartan Premier League leaders Sun Postal 4-0 but as comfortable as the 4-0 score may line suggest Ware had to wait until the 45th minute just before half time to take the lead and score their first goal, Ware had several chances throughout the first half that started with Ryan Wade being fouled just outside the box, Wade took the free kick but fired well over the bar then a combination of passing between Michael Deane, Murat Karagul, Albert Adu and Charlie Ledula who passed to Michael Deane and received a return pass but fired over the bar, Sun Postal then had a clear chance when a throw in from Gary Wallace to Elton Scarlet was headed on to Jimmy Armstrong who turned and shot wide and soon after Craig Lynskey ran at Ajet Shehu who slipped allowing Lynskey to run into the box and fire wide and should really have done better with the opportunity.
Samir Hadi won the race to a ball on the half way line and quickly passed to Khale Dacosta whose cross was punched up into the air by keeper Ross Hampton and Ryan Wade was first to the ball but put his header wide of the goal, Sun Postal hit back through Chris Mcarthy whose cross was met by Elton Scarlet and his shot was well saved by keeper Rhys Madden low down at the near post two more chances for Sun Postal through free kicks one by Elton Scarlet was hit low and wide of goal and the other taken by Nathan Pooley was headed wide by Marcel Jones, Ware fought back with Albert Adu running from the half way line his pass to Charlie Ledula was crossed into the box and cleared for a corner, Ryan Wade taking the corner saw Murat Karagul running in unmarked and took the short corner knocking the ball into his path and Karagul unleashed an unstoppable shot from 25 yards giving the keeper no chance and give Ware a 1-0 lead in the 45th before the whistle for half time.

Half –Time: Ware FC 1-0 Sun Postal FC.

Ware began well in the second half with the impressive Charlie Ledula causing problems for Sun Postal throughout the match with his pace and attacking skills ably assisted of course by the rest of his Ware colleagues but Sun Postal were still always in with a chance in the match trailing only 1-0 with Rhys Madden saving a header from Chris Mcarthy but Ware then quickly counter attacked through Murat Karagul who passed to Charlie Ledula with the latter crossing for Kieran Bishop whose shot was fumbled by the keeper and went out for a corner, Ryan Wade took the corner and Ajet Shehu ran in and thumped his header against the post and the ball was cleared down field, another piece of excellent play involved Charlie Ledula and Albert Adu whose pass to Murat Karagul saw Karagul hit the ball over the bar, shortly after Ryan Wade’s pass found Kieran Bishop who then passed to Albert Adu who was fouled just outside the box, Ryan Wade took the free kick and hit the ball over the wall and just wide of the near post.
Back came Sun Postal with Craig Lynskey going on a run from his own half who crossed the ball into the box but there were no Sun Postal players near enough get on the end of it and as the game wore on the Sun Postal team were visibly getting tired with the constant pressure the Ware side were putting on them throughout the game and then the inevitable happened when in the 73rd minute man of the match Charlie Ledula ran into the box dribbling past several players when he was tripped and the referee pointed to the penalty spot, Ryan Wade stepped up and converted the penalty to put Ware 2-0 ahead, another goal followed in the 79th minute when Charlie Ledula ran down the wing and his perfect cross was met by Kieran Bishop who powered his header home to make it 3-0 to Ware but Sun Postal were not to be denied and pulled a goal back a minute later when Simeon Fearon broke and put in Marcel Jones who slotted home to reduce the deficit to 3-1 the final goal came just before full time when another Charlie Ledula run and cross found Rheo Josephs who smashed home to give Ware a final winning score of 4-1
