This game provides a new club and venue to be entered into our records. Whitstable Town play in our league but in division one (south east) where they currently occupy 12th place with two wins and three draws from eight games. They enjoyed a long life in the Kent league before gaining promotion to the Isthmian League for 2006/7. Following relegation at the end of 2015/6 they regained Step 4 status in 2018.

Their best record in the Trophy came in 2013/4 when they reached the second round proper, going out at home to Ebbsfleet United in a Kent derby. Whilst we had a bye in the previous round of this year's competition the Oystermen won 1-0 at Chalfont St Peter.

There's £2,250 from the prize fund for the winners of the tie with £750 for the losers.
