For over 12 years, Warkworth Cricket Club has been the spiritual home of the much-loved and well-supported Warkfest. Without the venue and the support of the club, Alison, Ian, Ally, and I wouldn’t be able to host such a fantastic community event, which has raised over £55,000 for cancer charities over the past 11 years.
Ahead of this year’s music festival in September, we have decided to host a fundraising evening for the sole benefit of the Cricket Club itself.
We believe the cricket club is an essential hub of activity—from the café to coaching, cricket, and community events.
The evening will feature hot dogs, horse racing, music quizzes, and live music from Don’t Call Me Dave, as well as the fully stocked cricket club bar to keep you hydrated throughout.
Let’s get the club and the cricket season off to a foot-stomping start, so please don’t delay in securing your ticket for what promises to be an action-packed evening.
Tickets are £10 each and available from Ian Gray (07483 849159) or Alison Smailes (07483 429426).
On behalf of Warkfest and Warkworth Cricket Club, we look forward to seeing you on the night.
Thank you in anticipation,
David, Alison, Ally, and Ian
