Members Update
Over the past 5 years we have been working on plans for a 3 phase development to improve club facilities. I am pleased to advise that the construction programme for phases 1 and 2 will commence on or around the 17th June.
This will deliver a new entrance for our function hall and new changing rooms.
New entrance – this will deliver a new entrance for both non-disabled and disabled members/guests, together with new toilets. This will provide a much better experience for those using the facility and contribute to the clubs financial wellbeing. It will also deliver reduced noise pollution for our neighbours.
New Changing Rooms – this will bring our sporting facilities up to date and support the volume of sporting activity we currently enjoy. It will be key in supporting our ambition to diversify our sporting offering both in terms of adding new sports but also making those sports available to all members of our local community.
The above phases have been funded with the support of YourFundSurrey and the TDC Community Investment Levy, together with club funds. They also have the support of our Parish Council, TDC Councillor and our local MP.
Phase 3 to refurbish existing changing rooms is currently unfunded and will be our focus once the first two phases are finished.
The timeframe for completion of the construction work is 26 weeks but could be 4 weeks either side of this target. You will need to bear with us during this period. Inevitably the work will create noise and disruption, together with reduced car parking. There will be no weekend working.
