Tom Jones, or 'Jonesy' as he is affectionately called, will go down as part of Warriors XI history for scoring the first ever Warriors XI goal in their debut game against King Sports Reserves.

The fact it was a blatant cross is neither here nor there, and whilst not enjoying the best of seasons in 2008-2009, his switch to right back for the 2009-2010 season was a resounding success - a series of highly accomplished performances winning him the "Most Improved Player" of the year.

Unfortunately, Jonesy left us this season to make his highly anticipated move across the pond to settle in Chicago with his now-fiancee. We wish him all the best.
