Youngsters do their bit for Breast cancer research uk. Wath 18 Doncaster 10

The success keeps coming for Wath Upon Dearne RUFC. This Sunday saw Wath Colts unveil their new kit for the season, thanks to a hugely genorous sponsor from Lee Lanceley of Eltie Belting Services the youngsters at Wath are sporting a bright pink kit. In order to do their bit for a good cause it was decided Wath RUFC Colts would raise money for Breast Cancer Research UK by asking for donations at their home matches and at the end of the season auctioning off all of their pink shirts to the highest bidders in order to raise as much money as possible. The charity was chosen as a number of members of the team seen family members suffer from the disease and so it was a charity all the lads wanted to get behind. "Karen Smith, South Yorkshire’s area fundraising manager, said: “We are delighted to have the support of the Wath RUFC team. So many people are touched by cancer and it’s great that this team of young men want to do something fun and positive to support Cancer Research UK’s life saving work. Karen adds “We need everyone in South Yorkshire to get involved with our breast cancer campaign ‘Join the fight for women’s survival’
either by supporting the Wath RUFC’s fundraising or by organising their own even Wath christened the shirts in style with a fine 18-10 victory against local rivals Doncaster producing a fine performance from every player, tries coming from fly half Ashley Rothery and Wing Oliver Hudson man of the match went to Oliver Stirling for his work rate and commitment in defence.
