Everyone at the club is saddened to hear of club supporter and occasional player Scott's passing, he will be remembered as a happy and active presence on or over the boundary.

For a while he was ever present if a little less so recently, greeting everyone as they arrived with a handshake and a chat and then taking an energetic part in any activity on the sideline before offering a cheery presence as we left the field. I'll remember him as always happy to help and a genuinely lovely bloke. The only time he played a full game was at Odiham in 2021, we were one short at the start he stepped in despite never playing before, a whole hearted effort in the field saved runs and a great effort holding an end up at the end with the bat allowed the winning runs to be scored in a rare victory there, we couldn't have done it without him that day.
