Ist team played at home in a must win game and that’s just what they did winning 5 v 2 against Streetly 2nds. A win that was necessary for the team to stay in contention. Goals came from Club coach Pritpal (3), Kuvan (1), Satnam (1)
1st Team have a blank week on 13th Nov due to Newtown having pulled out of the league.

2nd Team

2nd Team played at home this week against Shrewsbury 3rd team and came away with a good win of 4 v 0. The unfortunate side to the win was Luke Mckenzie accidental collision with a Streetly player where Luke came out on the losing side with a visit to A&E with a broken nose.

3rd Team

3rd team played away in a crucial fixture against Kingswinford 3rds.
I have to say now that this is the worst game we have played this season with no cohesion in the team which generally looked like they had never played together before. Some good saves from Dan Frost and with two crucial shots taken off the line by TJ Roberts kept us in the game. TJ deserves a comment here because he played his best game so far for the 3rds, he disciplined himself not to roam everywhere and held his position and with a little guidance from the side and Phil Giles in particular he held the line. Well done TJ.
The game got fractious in the last 15 mins or so when a nasty tackle on Harry Edwards got out of hand. We lost 5 v 1 with our consolation goal coming from Grant Jones. This loss cost us top spot but we are in 3rd spot with all 3 positions at the top on 15 points with goal difference separating teams.
