Code of Conduct

We do not tolerate any persistent dissent or foul play at the club and our disciplinary code targets frequent offenders. The reason for enforcing such a strict code is because the SAL fines clubs for bad behaviour calculated on a 3 stage scheme.

We have a disciplinary sub-committee consisting of two committee members and the relevant team captain. They will meet up infrequently depending on bookings and sending off's. It is the committee's responsibility to make players aware of the disciplinary code and the consequences of getting booked or sent off. If you are cautioned or sent off your fines must be paid before you can play again.

For a first booking or a caution

If it is Dissent (back chatting the Ref.) You will incur triple the AFA Fine.

For ungentlemanly conduct you will pay the AFA fine plus £3.00 Weirside fine.

We retain the right to check players previous clubs and their displinary records with the local associations.

For a second booking or caution

You may be asked to appear before the Discipline Committee and banned for one match.

For a sending off

the AFA fine will be doubled plus £3 and you will receive a ban from the AFA (sometimes as much as thirty days).

Please review the attached FA Code of Conduct wording to which all members, players and staff should adhere.
