Good solid performance from WellingtonFC

Wellington returned to league action ,after a great FA Vase triumph at Shawbury ,with a tough home game to Dudley Sports . The boys confidence was high ,and it only took Josh Hunt 3minutes to put the boys ahead . Despite lots of possession it took a while to create more clear cut chances until the 25th minute ,when Luke Griffiths swept Home the 2nd goal ,and we took a 2-0 lead into the half time break.
Wellington came out at the start of the 2nd half ,with a good tempo and scored 2 quick goals in the 56th minute ,another from Luke from a corner and a penalty from Josh in the 58th minute to give Wellington a comfortable 4-0 lead . Dudley however didn’t let their heads drop and continued to play some good football, and this eventually gave them 2 goals in the final 20minutes to have a final score of 4-2 to WellingtonFC. A great result and a good way to go into a tough game at Bewdley Town next .
