There was a homecoming theme at the CIP as Wanderers returned home for the last hurdle on their march towards Super 5's glory for the 3rd year in a row.
Our first game was against a wounded Sutton and Cheam side who are no push over. We probably put on our best performance of the season in front of a good Cardiff crowd. Everyone played out of their skin to win 22-11. Special mention for Dan, Will and Ieaun who were outstanding.
The Sunday game was against Watford who were already out of the super 5's. But pride is a strong motivator and gave a good go but after the first quarter we were coasting to a 23-4 win. Our trio of youngsters: Jack ,Toby and Will all plyed well and showed great maturity.
We would like to thank everyone involved in the weekends games: First all the players who gave all they had during training and the games. Polo is a tough sport and we showed great strength and character.
The coaching team of Nige ,Tim, Jon and Theo held it all together like water polo super glue.
Thanks to all the support which included many players past and present, wives, children and proud parents.
Thanks for a great weekend.
