A win for OA's 4th XV takes them to the second spot, replacing Barnet Elizabethans 2nd XV who drop to third place having gone down to Barnet in Saturday’s match-up.

Saracens Amateurs 2nd XV continue to hold onto the top spot, and local rivals Hatfield put away The Mount to see them rise to 7th spot, just one behind Welwyn 3rd XV.

With Hendon 2nd XV and Welwyn both having a game in hand on the top 4, a win will for each would put 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th on equal points, with scores for and against being the differentiator.

On 15th November, Welwyn have the chance to rein in the League leaders as they face Saracens on home soil, fresh off the back of a solid win against Cheshunt 2nd XV from League 3. Following this, the 22nd November will see the 3rd XV travel away to league strugglers South Oxhey to work on improving the points difference situation, and of course a re-scheduled Old Ashmoleans fixture to hopefully continue the fine run of form.
