It is with much sadness that we have to advise club members of the passing of our sponsor and dear friend, John Ingram, a director of Ashtons. He died aged 58 on New Year's Eve surrounded by his family.

John was instrumental in setting up the sponsorship deal with the club, which saw Ashtons becoming the shirt sponsor for the Mini/Junior/Girls section. The agreement has now been running for ten years.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and to all of his colleagues at Ashtons. We will raise a glass to him at the Sponsors’ Lunch at the club on Saturday 24th January 2026.

The funeral is at 15.00 on Friday 23rd January 2026 at Woollensbrook Crematorium in Hoddesdon.
