The Welwyn U15 girls squad, many of whom were in the side that were runners-up in the National Cup final last season, hope the current postponement to the season doesn't prevent them playing the national semi-final and then hopefully the final in May.

On Sunday 16th in the regional final played at Harpenden, they beat a tough Horsham team in the London & South East final 34-10 to be crowned champions again.

Having dominated the area pool stages in their 3 matchs (196 pts for, 19 against) and then with wins against Cambridge (75-7) in the regional quarter-final and Medway (34-0) in the semi-final before this much tougher game against Horsham, for this very determined group of girls, the real target and their only real satisfaction will be to win the National Cup Final.
