In a stunning game at Worcester's Sixways premiership stadium, with great support from both camps the girls from Welwyn and Barkers were evenly matched. 12-12 at half time, the game was eventually won with a try and penalty by Barkers with approx 7 mins to go. The final result being 12-20

From the training on Saturday through the night at the hotel and everything on match day, the girls not only had a professional experience including full commentary on the RFU live streaming channel; entry on the pitch through the tunnel past the cup and the Elite changing room but they also had a couple of days of what rugby is all about. There was brilliant camaraderie, fun, and respect shown by the girls for everyone involved. The game was played in super spirit too.

Everyone at Welwyn are rightly proud of what the girls achieved and the way they conducted themselves throughout.
