We congratulate our U15 boys and our joint (with @stalbansrfc) U14 Nomads boys for their wins in the County Cup Plate finals this morning.
The U15s had a nail biting game against Harpenden B with both sides battling to the final whistle but Welwyn's boys held on to their 24-22 lead having come from 17-22 down with 5 mins to go.
The U14 Nomads went behind early on but showed their mettle and fought back with a couple quick tries and then never let up against Cheshunt and came away 31-5 winners.
A fantastic day in the sunshine for the boys and supporters and we're rightly proud of all the players and coaches
