As Chairman of Welwyn Rugby Club, I wanted to add a personal thank you to everyone who gave up their Saturday to support our Volunteers' Day.

To see 51 members, parents, players, coaches and friends of the club turn out was genuinely inspiring. Together, we completed an incredible amount of work that will make a real difference to our facilities and help ensure the club is ready for the season ahead.
For anyone who wanted to help but couldn't make it on the day, there is still one final job outstanding. We need to paint the walls in the committee room, so if you have a few hours to spare over the coming weeks and would like to lend a hand, we'd love to hear from you. It would be a great way to complete everything we set out to achieve.

Thank you once again to everyone who attended, and also to those who organised the day and kept everyone fuelled with refreshments. It was a brilliant day, and I hope everyone left feeling as proud of what we accomplished as I did.

Thank you for making Welwyn Rugby Club stronger, both on and off the pitch.
