West Bank poor results continue

Despite the absence of numerous players, those that pulled on the jersey gave a performance they can all be proud of. With much improved discipline at the heart of a rugged and at times free flowing display the watching spectators were thrilled by the fare on display.

West Bank threw everything they had into the game to take a 24-16 half time lead but the lack of reserve strength told as Thatto crossed for three quick trys at the start of the second stanza.

The Bears hit back to take the lead but the visitors crossed with just a few minutes left for the winning score.

Try scorers for the Bank were Danny Blunt, Rob Tillet, Kevin Gamble, Ellis Lewis, Ryan Bates, Chris Hall and Peter Clarke.

Player/Coach Ste Curphey was in inspirational form but once again Ryan Bates was Man of the Match
