The Hornets hit back before Jones restored order proving too strong for a gaggle of defenders near the line. Lee Holland was pulled down by desperate defence and Ste McDermott took advantage of a quick play the ball to dummy his way over. Murphy converted from the touchline.
Coming off the bench Harry Cartwright was proving hard to handle and smashed his way through to touch down from close to the line.
Murphy again added the two points from the touchline.
Jack Murphy finished off the first half scoring, proving impossible to stop off an inside ball from McDermott.
McDermott opened the second stanza scoring finishing off a Ryan Bates break whose slight of hand brought the house down. Jack Murphy repeated his earlier effort with Murphy converting both.
The Bears started to slacken off in defence allowing Farnworth a couple of soft touchdowns but the rampaging Karl Glover restored the momentum backing up a McDermott break.
Lawton broke clear with the ever present McDermott continuing the run to feed Cartwright for his second. Murphy converted.
The best score was saved the last when the hard to hold Darren Wilson broke clear on the half way line and rounded the fullback with ease.
