Intent on getting back on track following the Easter Saturday defeat at Bosham, Chilt could not have had a worse start to the game; caught square at the back twice in the first three minutes, found themselves 0-2 down.

The crazy defending and resulting scores continued in a breathless first half, when Gary Weedon scored twice in quick succession to make it 2-2 after seven minutes, before more poor defensive work by Chilt lead to Hunston pouncing three more times. Craig Dawson scrambled a third Chilt goal on 44 minutes to make it 3-5 at half time.

A one sided second half saw Ross Myers score his first for the club within a minute of the re-start and following one way traffic for the remainder of the half, substitute Dan Clayton slammed the ball into the roof of the Hunston net to even the scores.

Chilt continued to push for the winner, and despite several half chances, couldn't force a sixth. So the points were shared in a crazy game where forwards were on top and defences barely turned up.

Chilt will certainly need a vast improvement at the back to avoid defeat against Bosham for the second time in a week, leaving any title aspirations in tatters when the two sides meet at The Rec. on Saturday.
