Congratulations to Martin Logue who became Westerlands latest "daddy" and returned to the side with a typically brilliant performance. It was the boost his side was needing and his contribution paved the way for an excellent 4-1 win which lifts Westerlands back into the all important top 4. Paul Griffin however was named man of the match just ahead of Logue for his dominant display at the heart of Westies back 3 on Saturday.

Westerlands will be looking to carry the momentum of this result and performance into training which resumes on Monday and maintain the level going into Saturday's trip to Whiteinch which promises to be a battle royale in the race to finish in the top 4. Westerlands currently occupy 4th spot but could actually go second in the table with another win this coming weekend. If Saturday's display can be repeated Westerlands could give themselves a real chance in the run in for the top 4.

Training takes place at soccerworld on Monday with the final session at Garscube on Thursday ahead of Saturday's away day at Whiteinch.
