Westgate Cricket Club was founded in 1936 and is situated at Cross Hill Park, Powder House Lane, Lancaster.

The club is a member of the Palace Shield Competition and the Westmorland Cricket League. The 1st XI play in the Palace Shield Competition while the 2nd XI and 3rd XI play in the Westmorland Cricket League. There are five junior sides, at U - 9, U - 11SB, U - 11HB, U - 13, and U - 16 levels, playing in the Westmorland League Junior Southern Section.
