For the last game of league Eagles showed a very confident team

West London Eagles faced London Angels for their last game of the league. The home team finished the season on a perfect note. The Eagles started the game with a well structure attack which allowed the back players ( Anne, Judith and Victoria) to score at 9 meters. After few goals scored, Angels reacted quickly in defence to do a one on one on Sunni. However the girls were unstoppable and opened spaces for the wings (Maddi and Noelly). (6-3)

The first time out was taken by Paul who wanted the defence to be even stronger and asked the girls to work together. Back on the court, it was time for Anette to shine in the goal. The good passes and the speed of Zoe and Maddi allowed them to scored some fast break. (8-5)
The first half (14-8)

On the second half Eagles continued to dominate the game and added even more rhythm to be faster, scoring even more goal than the first half. Despite a one on one defence, Sunni managed to score 7 goals in the second half giving no chance to the away team to come back. The work of the line players Maria, Marge and Amy who created many blocks in attack for their team finally paid in second half (3 goals scored from the line).

The last 5 minutes Eagles developed a new defence to steal some balls to increase the score difference. (34-15)
Despite a great game, Eagles have to work on few things to be ready for the National Cup Final in two weeks.

Player of the game : Sunni
Goalkeeper Lilla: only 7 goals taken

We wish a speed recovery to Anne, injured at the game.
