WESTOE director of rugby thanked an "outstanding" display from centre Gareth Roberts for 17-13 home win against Luctonians.

The centre was constantly breaking down play from the visitors and played an instrumental role in the South Tynesider's fourth win of the season.
Tries from Jordan Carey and Ryan Beattie put the points on the board for the Shieldsmen, who had to defend for their lives at times on the afternoon.
Howells was delighted with the result and feels his side are improving every week.
He said: "I think Gareth Roberts was absolutely outatanding today.
"Everytime there was a breakdown in their attacking play he seemed to be at the root of it.
"We have showed a 100 per cent improvement in defence in recent weeks and this was a massive win for us."
It was as early as the third minute that the scoring got underway thanks to a penalty from Luctonians fly-half Jake Newman.
The lead lasted for only four minutes however, with Newman's opposite number Carey touching down directly beneath the posts. Mellish kicked the extras.
Luctonians then took the game to Westoe and only some stern defending kept the lead intact.
On 31 minutes, Westoe flanker Joe Maw had to be stretchered off after picking up an injury to his knee.
A 35th minute Newman penalty was cancelled out three minutes later by Westoe's Matthew Mellish to make the score at the break 10-6.
Twelve minutes into the second half and Westoe replacement Haydn Richards was given a yellow card for an off the ball incident.
With the South Tynesiders down to 14 men, it was they who surprisingly extended their lead when Beattie picked up a loose ball and burst through the heart of the Luctonians defence to touch down. Mellish again converting.
The visitors reduced the defecit with 20 minutes left of the game when No8. Paul Hulland bundled his way over the line after a well-worked scrum.
Luctonians pressed hard for the try that would have given them the win but Westoe's back like weathered the storm and held on for the win.
Howells admitted that his side have surpassed his points expectations so far this season.
He added: "We had a points target of reaching 20 by Christmas, and we now already have 21 so I am delighted with that.
"We showed a lot of character today and it is one that will get us going back up the table.
"We just have to keep on moving forward and take each and every game as it comes."
