Partick put this fixture to bed early with a terrific spell of bowling. All our opening bowlwers were on the money, but special mention to Dhillon with his figures of 5 for 11 off 7 overs.
Winning the toss, skipper Simon Brown asked Nunholm to bat. Good tight bowling from openers Stuart Brown and Robbie McCallum, backed up well in the field kept the visitors in check. The breakthrough came with the dismissal of Goodin on 8. With a change to the bowling attack the wickets continued to fall with Dhillon and Richard Cox claiming 5 and 3 wickets respectively as the pressure was maintained. Nunholm's innings finished on 57 runs after 23 overs with only one player getting in to double figures.
Tea was not taken and West looked to chase down a low total which was achieved in the 18th over. Gregg Watson returning from injury carried his bat for 22 runs and completed the chase with David Clews hitting a winning 4 to finish on 16.
