The 'lions' got off to a winning start this week against Selsdon Junior U7s. We started the game kicking downhill and soon put the Selsdon defence under some early pressure. From a short corner we worked the ball into the box finding Olly who managed to get his shot away and claim 'our' and 'his' first goal of the season. Another from Olly and a coolly taken goal from Will gave us a 3-0 lead at half time.

In the second half (kicking uphill) we found ourselves defending a little more and with a few good saves from our second half goalie Jake S we managed to hold on for a 3-1 win. The boys put a lot of effort into the game, they kept their shape and worked really well as a team. This was a massive improvement on last weeks friendly, losing 5-0 to Wickham Wanderers.

Man of the match: Olly
