Leave the A1M northbound carriageway at junction 45 signposted Wetherby/Boston Spa/Tadcaster and take the first exit off the roundabout, keep to the right approaching the next roundabout and take the 3rd exit, signposted Wetherby.

Follow this road for 1.5 miles. Straight across the next roundabout at the Mercure Hotel, pass the police station on the right. Just before the main Wharfe Bridge, take a left turn down Lodge Lane (also signposted Swimming Pool & Wetherby Sports Association) and the Bulldogs clubhouse (Wetherby Sports Association) is the last large building on the left after the swimming pool.

From the North:

Leave the A1M southbound carriageway at junction 46 signposted Wetherby Racecourse and turn right at the exit roundabout towards Wetherby (B6164).

At the next roundabout turn left, staying on this road and straight across three further roundabouts (this road follows the route of the old A1 and is the new bypass road, cutting out the need to negotiate the town centre).

At the next roundabout (Mercure Hotel opposite) turn right down Boston Road, pass the police station on the right. Just before the main Wharfe Bridge, take a left turn down Lodge Lane (also signposted Swimming Pool & Wetherby Sports Association) and the Bulldogs clubhouse (Wetherby Sports Association) is the last large building on the left after the swimming pool.

Match Days, particularly Saturdays can be very busy at the Sports Association. If you find the car park full, here are details of alternative (free) car parks:

The Wilderness car park can be found over the Wharf bridge and turn right immediately at the mini-roundabout down "Bridge Foot". This car park should be exited on foot via the footpath under the bridge to maximize pedestrian safety. Once under the bridge, take the right hand turning up towards town and double back over the bridge towards the Swimming Pool. Turn right once over the bridge and Lodge Lane will lead straight to Wetherby Sports Association, after the swimming pool on the left. Less than 5 minutes walk.

The Station Car Park can be found on Linton Road, on the right. Again, proceed over the Wharf Bridge and turn left at the mini-roundabout. Follow this road through town, past the Library and turn left (signposted Linton). The car park is approximately ¼ mile down this road on the right hand side. Please be aware that this car park is not tarmacadamed. This car park should be exited on foot, turning left, and crossing over Linton Road into Scaur Bank park. The river and playing fields can be seen from the top of the steps. Proceed over the footbridge and onto Sports Association playing fields. Please not that this car park location is not suitable for disabled access. Less than 5 minutes walk.

Please do not park along Lodge Lane, this is a hotspot for Traffic Warden action, they WILL ticket you
