A Team beat Top of the League Tiffin

A sunny but chilly Saturday saw Vandals A take on Tiffin, a team we beat convincingly last time, but were sat at the top of the table.

It was a strong start, and Vandals played some great defensive netball all the way through the court. Tiffin shooters were struggling against the might of Lizzi and Amber in the circle. Vandals attack and Centre court put constant pressure on the Tiffin ball all the way through the court, and worked solidly as a unit, regularly achieving held ball calls in Vandals favour.

Attack were strong, our C Darby had clear, strong and decisive drives. The feeds were played with patience, and the rotations between Kate and Lucy worked well. We were able to change our game as needed, and played the reset ball with positive results.

it got a bit hairy in the last quarter, when Tiffin were within 1 goal, but Vandals dug deep, and fought hard to eventually win by 6 goals, meaning Tiffin only got 1 point from us.

A fab team win, and strong mental performance from Vandals. Congratulations to Darby who got both Oppo Player and players player, well deserved.
