We won... Yay!!

Captain Lizzi was worried when Claygate B arrived before us down at Vandals but she must’ve been wearing her lucky pants, as what a start to Vandals A Kingston campaign.

We went out all guns blazing, and played ferociously and worked hard and fast to get an 18-5 lead at the end of the first quarter.
However Claygate were proving to be a methodical team, and didn’t allow us to rest on our laurels.

The second quarter allowed us to stretch our legs out to 30-8 but half time bought a break to allow us make some changes.
Derby came on to play a super sub quarter a C, and Sasha had a well earnt rest from WD.

Charlie and Lizzi maintained the pressure on in the defensive circle all through the second half, and the attack kept their heads to try and give relaxed feeds into the circle. Some shiny examples of front cuts throughout the court kept Rae-Rae happy.

The final score was a brilliant boost, and Vandals played exceptionally vs a hard working Claygate team.

Players player went to Josie, who’s new trainer gave her an extra surge of power.
Oppo’s player went to Lucy who had a great game.
