From September 15th the doors – or courts – will be open to younger players aged 11 to 16!

Netball is a sport which continues to grow in popularity for women of all ages across the UK. For youths in particular beyond the more obvious physical benefits, netball can be a great way to develop team spirit, build skills, meet new people and increase in confidence.

Elaine Searle, Club Captain, says “We’re really thrilled to be expanding our netball club with the addition of a junior section. We welcome younger players who are looking to build on the netball skills they learn in schools and offer them the opportunity to develop further. These new players will form the future of our club”.

Linda Sewell, Head Coach, says “Netball is a fun and fast-paced game and everyone should give it a go! We’re really excited about providing quality netball coaching to youngsters and hope to inspire a passion for the great game of netball which will last a lifetime.”

Junior training for 11-16 year old girls starts on September 15th 2011 at 6.45pm at Sir William Perkins’s School. Contact Sally Emmas at vandalsjuniornetball@gmail.com for more details.
