Voting members of Vandals RFC are invited to the rugby section's 82nd Annual AGM on Wednesday 8th July 2020 via an Zoom webinar
The rugby AGM gives members an opportunity to keep up to date with the latest rugby developments at Vandals and to ask questions to the rugby committee. We would encourage all members with voting rights to join us at this years AGM. If you are unsure if you are a voting member, or if you are would like some more information, please do not hesitate to contact Stuart (Rugby Secretary)

This year's AGM will follow a slightly different format due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the current government guidelines relating to group gatherings and social distancing. For this years AGM to take place we look to technology to assist via an online zoom webinar.
The format of the meeting will be as follows:
- All associated reports will be made available on the club website and via the links below.
- 48 hours prior to the AGM a link will be made available for members to join the webinar via email and the rugby section website. This will also contain further instructions.
- At the AGM no reports will presented, please ensure you familiarise yourself with reports prior to the AGM.
- The AGM will be a forum to direct questions relating to the reports to your committee members.
- Questions can also be submitted in advance via email@example.com
Questions can also be asked verbally or via the chat function on the day of the AGM.
Voting will take place as normal for committee positions this will either be on the day if present or via proxy voting forms, more details below.
For voting members unable to attend the Zoom webinar on Wednesday 8th July, you can cast your vote via proxy vote. The form for this can be accessed via the clubs website or via the link below. Please note that all proxy votes need to be received by the rugby secretary no later than 5pm on Wednesday 8th July.
Extracts from Club Rules:
There shall be given at least 21 clear days' notice (in accordance with the notice provisions set out at Articles 92 and 93) of every Section AGM, specifying the place, the day and the hour of the meeting, the agenda for the meeting as well as the general nature of any other business, to all members of the relevant Section Committee as are entitled to receive such notices from the Club.
All members shall be entitled to propose resolutions to be voted upon at any Section AGM. Such resolution must be seconded by a member and must be deposited with the relevant Section Committee Chairman at least seven (7) days before the AGM takes place at which it is to be proposed to the members. The Section Committee Chairman will ensure that any such resolution is circulated to all members entitled to attend and vote at the relevant Section AGM in advance of that meeting.
Any Full Member may nominate another member to a position on each Section Committee. Any nomination must be seconded by another Full Member and signed by the nominee. The nomination must be in the hands of the Secretary at least 7 days before the Section AGM at which the election will be voted upon takes place. The Secretary will ensure that details of all nominations are circulated to the members before such general meeting.
