Chips were down

The chips were down with massive pressure from recently relegated university side Team Bath Buccaneers 2’s.

Three nil down early in the first half, the Weymouth coaches acted fast and changed the formation to a more defensive approach and the score remained the same at half time.

Team Bath Buccaneers were lucky to score a fourth as one of their players touched the ball forward with the leg before advancing into Weymouth’s D and scoring as the foul was unfortunately missed by the umpire. Weymouth’s fitness was pushed to its limits, but the changed defensive formation proved relatively successful with the final score 4 -0.
