Brief report on last saturdays game (without scorebook), 2nds lost for the first time this season in a game we could and should of won. Pontymister scored 226 all out thanks mainly to 97 from their MOM opener (also took 4 wkts and 4 stunning slip catches), but was helped by being dropped 3 times and bowling either side of the wicket with many a "4" ball thrown in for good measure (Jack Rowlands the exception).
WHCC then mustered 197 with most batsmen finding ways to get themselves out or being caught by MOM, decent knocks by Awais and Huw but we always looked 30 runs short which is just about the number of wides given away. Don't think 2 easy wins helped the mental side of our game and will need a much better performance at last years league winners on Saturday.
