At the hospital, WHCC lost the toss and had to bowl first. Without Tom Salmon who was revising, Lisvane managed to rack up 286 off their 50 overs. Jon Delf, coming on after most of the damage had been done, bowled out the majority of the Lisvane team, taking 6-48. Opening the bowling was Mike Richards, who bowled 15 overs, taking 3 wickets for 62. There was also a wicket for Mike Ley.
Opening the batting, Raman hit 35 but WHCC were in a bad position at 72-5. There was a slight revivial when Raheem came to the crease scoring 24. The main innings came from Mike Richards who blasted his way to 49* with some strong hitting against some average spin bowling.
