There is another great opportunity coming up for the club to raise some money - The organisers of the Lichfield Half Marathon need marshals for the event on Sunday 1st May. They have asked if we can provide 30 marshalls and in exchange, they will give the club £600 !!

Last year we also participated in this event , supplying 30 marshalls to cover the area in and around Whittington. It was fantastic and a pleasure to help run an event passing through our village.

So I am appealing for anybody who is aged 16 or over who can give up 2.5 hours on a Sunday morning to please come forward and help... No special training required and hi-viz vests will be supplied !!
