
Birkbeck is Wibsey top man

Young No 8 James Birkbeck picked up two awards at Wibsey Rugby Union Club's presentation evening.
The 20-year-old was named first-team players' player and also won the President's Trophy. His brother Simon took the trustees' award, while first-team skipper and fixture secretary Dan Horsfall was clubman of the year.
Scrum half Chris Paine was young player of the year, full back Scott Smith won the Michael Ball Top Tries Trophy and forward Richard Hall was the most improved player.
