So we arrived to a damp and muggy Coninsborough with the covers still on hoping to get a game in to push the boys further up the table. A few showers over the next hour or so gave us time to have a game of football and see lundy playing the Paul Scholes roll and Donno playing the I cant kick a football for my life roll. Rich Harrison played the enforcing center back.
Game Time
With the covers off and the game to be 37 overs a side Nathan Smith won the toss against former rotherham town team mate Jordan 'el capitano' lowe and put wickersley in to bat.
Richard and Mushy got off to a good steady start building runs against some good opening bowling by overseas Arosh Janoda. Both players past 50 and the first wicket was to fall after a fantastic 128 run partnership. Richard Harrison 56. Jhonny took to the crease with 16 overs to go and went in with great attacking intentions firing 38 from 29. The man of the show was Haider 'mushy' Jahangir though with a fantastic 126 to set the game of for the green army.
Wickersley finished on 271/6 off 37
