Goals in each half was enough to see Wick progress through to the next round of the Peter Bentley Cup. Dragons started well but Selsey came into the game after 15 mins and were unlucky not to find themselves ahead after some good defending and Keelan Belcher commanding his area.
Just before half time some good link up play between Scott Rafferty and Liam Brady resulted in David Crouch finding the net with a well taken goal.
The second half became a scrappy affair with both teams not finding any form of rhythm but a clever pass over the top resulted in Ben Gray racing down on goal and smartly finished putting the game to bed and a next round tie away at Storrington.
Dragons are back on the road this Saturday when they visit Roffey.
