This weeks opponents at home were Cambridge Celts.
 
With several players missing and some of the squad having to play out of position we approached this game with an air of trepidation. The game started with both teams feeling their way somewhat but Wickhambrook always looked comfortably in control. As the half progressed however their domination wasn't reflected by the scoreline as a number of opportunities were scorned. After twenty minutes Wickhambrook produced a lovely move down the right wing which culminated in Angus crossing the ball in front of goal for Ethan to clip home. At the break the score remained at 1-0 but did not reflect Wickhambrook's domination.
 
It didn't take long in the second half for Wickhambrook to increase their lead. With three minutes played Jack H pushed the ball through to Elliot who raced in on goal and scored crisply. Cambridge Celts fought back and managed to pull a goal back in the 14th minute but despite the closeness of the score Wickhambrook remained comfortably in control. With five minutes remaining a lovely pass from Brandon put Elliot through to score again then in the final minutes Charlie was pushed in the box at a corner and Wickhambrook were awarded a penalty. Elliot scored from the spot to complete his hat trick. The game finished at 4-1 to Wickhambrook.
