Alex will start at Wilburton on Monday 22nd April and will be initially leading on the Cric8 youth side at the club. We will be looking to enhance to partnership further by venturing into 1-2-1 sessions for any club members at the ground, more information to follow on this.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce the appointment of Alex Wilkinson as our new Cricket Development Officer.

Alex is an ECB Level 2 Cricket Coach with 10 years worth of coaching experience in both the men and women's game at a variety of age groups and abilities.

His passion for engaging and developing cricketers from all backgrounds and experiences really makes him stand out from the crowd during our extensive recruitment process for the role.

Alex will be leading core areas for the business of Holiday Provision and our Strength and Conditioning offer as well as supporting all areas of coaching from schools coaching, one-to-ones, player development courses and coaching at our partner cricket clubs.

Alex is a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science and on top of his coaching credentials, has an outstanding playing background having played first class cricket for Oxford UCCE as well as representing Warwickshire CCC 2nd XI, Worcestershire CCC 2nd XI and Academy, Hertfordshire CCC
