It is with great sadness that we must report the passing of Simon ‘Johnners’ Johnson, a man who touched the lives of so many at the Club over the past 30+ years. Player, captain, manager, organiser, musician, raconteur, promoter, chef, tourist and all-round larger-than-life character, he will be sorely missed by his friends at the Club which was so central to his life. He has been an ever-present for a generation and his wit and warmth will be missed by us all. We send our condolences to his daughters Anna and Lucy, and raise a glass to the memories of Johnners we all share.
