Wilmslow u-8's - Sun 12th April

Training at home this week, 10.15am meet in the usual spot.
Phil

We aim to give your child the best experience of Rugby during their early years. We focus on skill development and enjoyment to bring out the best in each player.

We have a schedule of training sessions, home and away fixtures and tournaments throughout the season. You can see the plans on the u-8 fixtures page. Further details will be updated on this website weekly and also communicated by email.
New players are very welcome, especially at under-8 level which is entirely non-contact and a great introduction to the game. The first 3 sessions are free. If you want to find out more please call the coach, Tom Levings, on 07739 941857.

We deliberately mix boys and girls from different schools and of different abilities in order to encourage an inclusive approach to rugby.

We would ask that parents:

- ensure that there is an adult present who is responsible for their child during the sessions.
- ensure players have plenty of layers to keep themselves warm (name tags are recommended) and a drink.
- respect the spirit of rugby with positive encouragement for all teams and absolutely no criticism of refereeing decisions.
- support the coaches if children are distracted and misbehaving.
- are prepared for their children to play in both home and away games.

We are a large group so any parent wanting to get involved would be much appreciated.

If you have any concerns about your child's enjoyment of the game please speak to one of the coaches or contact Tom on 07739 941857.

The website below is a great summary of the rules that apply to U8s.
