Good Morning Ye Mighty Dons!

Good Morning Ye Mighty Dons!

Well a good weekend for the most part last week - let's have a little run down the score card.

The 1st XV welcome Brentwood to Beverley Meads for a big game in their charge to the end of the season with their oppo languishing near the bottom of the table. However, in a reflection of the toughness of this league - the visitors came out fighting, but the boys in claret and blue were to the task - scoring a 38-22 victory. You can the match report here. With Sutton and Epsom losing at home - the top of Nat League 3 is looking very tight indeed!

It was a harder day out for the 2nd XV. The injury issues affecting the senior men's camp had already cancelled the 3rd XV and so it was a depleted 2nd XV that travelled to Richmond. They came up against a strong and well drilled side and the final score was 77-0. A result that can be put down to the past as a learning experience and one to be avenged in the next match.

With the 3rd XV cancelled, the Strollers had an enjoyable encounter against Law Soc, as the only other home game of the afternoon. In a closely contested game the strollers ran in at half time 14-12 up. As the game wore on they gradually took the upper hand and came home 45-17. Good to see both sides enjoying a drink together in the club house afterwards for the internationals.

So this weekend the 1st XV have a week off and so do the 2nd XV, the 3rd XV are potentially at home in the cup and the Strollers are away to Farnham. The Internationals will still be on at the ClubHouse - so do get down for an intriguing final weekend of 6 Nations action on Saturday. Safe for families and great for friends.

Wait?! What is this that hits my Inbox?!

See you there!
Big Love
