Another bad day at the office
Winterton Rangers fell further behind the league leaders yesterday, as they suffered their third home league defeat of the season – as a Liam Radford penalty for Armthorpe decided the game at West Street.
“Another bad day at the office”, Hellewell said. “Armthorpe came and did a job on us and fair play to them. We got out battled again but lacked that cutting edge.”
“First half was ok, there were times we tried to play football but then we go into panic mode and lose focus. The second half was extremely poor.”
“We don’t have a game for two weeks now and that will give us plenty of time to work on things and look at things, confidence is low at the minute and it’s been that way for a long while now. We can’t afford to lose many more points.”
