Away to Newmarket

Our latest fixture saw us travel away to a Newmarket side that also boasted an unbeaten record so far this season so the pressure was on for Wisbech to keep their own record going.

The weather was, well how else can I put it, torrential. Even Noah would have turned his nose up if asked to come along.

Despite this, 9 hardy souls along with their dedicated parents made the trip and endured the conditions, which was just as well as we won 3 and drew 1 of the four games played.
Our unbeaten record remains intact for another week.!

Wisbech Blues – Rose Smith, Toby Smith, George Davison and Danny Holt

Game 1: Newmarket 9 - 9 Wisbech Blues
Scorers: Toby Smith - 4, Rose Smith - 2, George Davison - 2, and Danny Holt - 1

Game 2: Newmarket 8 - 9 Wisbech Blues
Scorers: Rose Smith - 3, Toby Smith - 3, George Davison - 2, and Danny Holt - 1

Wisbech Reds – Seb Bell, Thomas Wicks, Archie Grange-Hall, Jenson Blackwell, Isaac Ibbott

Game 1: Newmarket 8 - 10 Wisbech Reds
Scorers: Archie Grange-Hall - 7, Thomas Wicks - 2, Seb Bell - 1

Game 2: Newmarket 7 - 8 Wisbech Reds
Scorers: Archie Grange-Hall - 5, Issac Ibbott - 2, Thomas Wicks - 1

Special mentions go to all the players and their parents this week for braving the weather, lets hope for some drier weather to come.
Finally Archie Grange-Hall scored 12 tries this week to add to his 14 from last week, he is fast becoming our resident try scoring expert, can any of his team mates challenge him for this crown...?

Tune in next week to find out.
