Wisbech U7's vs. Peterborough Lions U7's

This week saw us test our unbeaten record against a good and well-organised Peterborough Lions side, could we keep it going for one more week…?

The weather was sunny, but the recent rain had left its mark with all the u7 pitches more than a little on the muddy side, which was quite a good leveller as all the players were struggling to hit top speed with all the mud clogging up their boots, but they always seem to enjoy it more when the get dirty so all was good with the world.

A fantastic effort by all the Wisbech players as our unbeaten record continues for yet another week.

Special mentions this week go to Jemima Mitchell and Archie Grange-Hall who both collided with players from the opposing team, but after a visit from the “magic sponge” were able to carry on playing.

Toby Smith, George Davison and Thomas Wicks were all in contention for the top try scorer of the day up until the very end, with Toby coming out on top with 7 tries to George’s 6 and Thomas’s 5.
