New coach appointed

Peter has been a loyal member of Clacton RFC, coaching and developing junior sides through to colts. He feels that now is the time to take on the challenge of coaching an adult team and the vacancy at Witham is the perfect match for his ambitions and our targets. 

The club would like to thank justin Chesson, who contacted Annie Coulson, our Essex RDO to publicise the post within the County. 

Chairman Dean Wells has been in contact with each person who showed an interest and is confident that we have found the right coach to replace Josh Phelps-Knight. We wish Josh every success in his future and will always be grateful for the great work he did in developing our first team. 

I'm sure the whole club will look forward to the time when Peter can get out there and start working with our players.
