poor second half costly for town

more points lost as the gap at the foot of the table closes in on witham and its now a fight to the finish to stay in this division,with any one from four teams fighting not to fill that last position to go down.
witham did start well and the home keeper micheal gooch making a super saev after just four minutes and were on top for most of the first half.
after the break with not many chances witham did get the ball in the net when tom cocklin fired in ,but it was (surpriseingly to all) rules off side ,and just a few minutes later romford scored the only goal of the game when danny crossington headed across goal to micheal dixon to fire home.
witham dominated the later stages of the game , but once again (as per usual) failed to finish off good build ups.
